Miss Info has word that “Big Brother” Hov, threw him ” a dope private after-party at the 40/40 Club.” It even included Jay performing songs of his upcoming American Gangster album live.

• ‘Gangster’ lean: Speaking of American Gangster, here’s a “featurette” with a few scenes from the movie and interviews featuring Denzel, Russell Crowe and Brian Grazer.
  
  Tell it later: David Banner’s highly anticipated album, The Greatest Story Ever Told, is being pushed back till November 20.

• Not so exclusive: Young Jeezy’s birthday bash in ATL was a free for all and not as “exclusive” as it was billed to be. And a note to celebs and rappers: if the helicopter that’s dropping you off doesn’t land right on the red carpet, what good is it?
