Brand Barry Bonds’ Ball
The public has spoken and although Barry Bonds’ 756th home run ball will be sent to the Baseball Hall of Fame, first it will be permanently branded. Think of it as a physical footnote in baseball history to acknowledge Bonds beating Hank Arron’s record, while reminding the world of the doping scandal surrounding the record breaker. Over 10 million people voted and here’s the final tally:

In a world of professional sports gone wild and performance enhancing drugs being all the rage amongst not only ball players, but also cyclists, wrestlers, and in other major sports too, we hope this whole exercise publicly drives home the point that the fans don’t like cheats and juicing up only makes things sour. Oh, and a heartfelt congrats to Barry, you made it to Cooperstown!

Marc Ecko You are an Idiot, You love to use the black man to get to the top, first with graffiti, and now on the back of another Black man just for personal gain. Great, you are a business man, but to be a jerk is another thing. All you will do is write off the ball you purchased for tax purposes and add to the people who take advantage of the BLACK (Dark Brown)people of America. Please don’t turn this into a black/white thing. I hate how somehow everything ALWAYS turns into that! Ace, you are an ignorant person, and apparently have no idea what you are talking about. If you followed baseball even the slightest bit you would not be making the comments you made. People that support Barry Bonds even understand the frustration from the people that don’t support him. If Mark Maguire had been the guy that broke Hank Aaron’s record people would still be going crazy, not because hes white or black but because he took performance enhancing drugs, and broke the biggest, most legitimate record in baseball.
And by the way, Hank Aaron…the guy that held the greatest, most respected record in baseball for 33 years…was kinda black himself. So before you come onto a website and post some ridiculous comments, please educate yourself about something…especially if you feel so strongly about it. :)

Good job Bitch! Way to let a bunch of non sports fan yahoo’s vote the fate of the greatest single acheivment in sports history. I am a sports junkie and the setiment of real fans nation wide was to leave the ball untouched ( via nationally syndicated sports talk shows and espn message boards so peep game bitch) Even Gilbert Arenas has stepped out and offered to buy the ball. So i guess being rich allows you the right to be the judge jury and executioner good job richman. Not to mention you have alianated a city that stood behind you. It sucks that Bonds used roids. It also sucks that it’s a permanent eyesore in the Hall of Fame.
It sucks that a Black Professional has been discredited. It also sucks that he cheated in order to STAY/BE professional.
It sucks that Marc Ecko will be hated by many, MANY Baseball/sports fans for stamping a big red brand on American Sports History. It also sucks that American Sports History is F**KED UP ANYWAY.
