Droppin’ Science On Gangsta Rap
Don’t expect to find these ‘Science of Gangsta Rap’ diagrams on the Temple of Hip Hop’s website, they’re exclusive to Chris’s Invincible Super-Blog and are as funny as hell. Although we totally appreciate Fig. 3c: ‘When Dealing With a Killa Bee Swarm in the Lands of Shaolin,’ or the ‘Procedure For Rolling Down The Street In You 6-4,’ we were most drawn to Fig. 4-A’s: ‘Unified Bitch Theory.’ This Venn diagram attempts to show the logical relationship between Dr. Dre’s (and Snoop’s) assumption that “Bitches Ain’t Shit.” As a refresher we urge you to take a quick look at Dre’s chorus (meant to be sung 2x) and then take another look at Fig. 4-A:

And I hops in my ride to make a quick run…
We’ll admit that we failed Sequential Math II in high school, are by no means experts in “set theory,” but are intrigued and agree with a commenter who found some holes in this unified theory of bitchdom. Josh (7b) explains his skepticism:
I notice a critical flaw in Figure 4-A. The figure contradicts Dr. Dre's (PhD) treatise entitled 'Bitches ain't shit', in it is stated that “Bitches ain't shit but hoes and tricks”. While you have correctly shown that 'Bitches' and 'Shit' are two discrete groups (i.e. that “Bitches ain't shit”), you have incorrectly shown the class of “bitches” as existing partially outside of the groups “tricks” and “hoes”. The correct formulation of the theory would have “bitches” as the intersection of the two classes, with no section outlying. Keep in mind, bitches ain't shit but hoes AND (not and/or) tricks.
He does make a good point, but we urge you to read the rest of the comments and appreciate some of the deep thought what went into this post-analysis dialogue.
