Welcoming Back The Gazelle

When the Gazelle was launched in 1968, it served as a training shoe for soccer players whose game called for a sneaker that would allow short cuts and superior flexibility for lateral movement. While the Gazelle was favored by athletes in the late 60s, the 90s saw high-school-hero's rockin the three-stripe-classic on the stylish-tip. Now 39+ years into the shoe's existence skaters get a turn to ride with them this fall. The outside aesthetic matches up with the Gazelle we've come to love, but with more of a focus on function like an improved cushioned sock liner and a wet/dry outsole providing a superior hold on your decks grip tape, we may be witnessing the only sneaker that completes the jock, pretty boy and skate-rat trifecta. $70, adidasskateboarding.com
