  • King me: Both the RZA and the GZA will take part in the Hip Hop Chess Federation’s first annual Chess Kings invitational. It will take place this October in San Francisco.
  • Twisted thoughts: Bill O’Reilly tries to paint a picture of Twista as a gangsta rapper in this op-ed piece. Bill also claims that even though grew up in the “all-white suburb of Levittown, N.Y.” he did love Willie Mays and the sounds of Motown.
  • Munchies mash-up: Missy Elliot is passing that Dutch and diving into a bag of Doritos. In a new commercial that premieres September 17, she’ll be featured in a series of TV ads to promote their new Collisions brands that offers two different tasting chips in one bag. So she makes some sort of mash-up in the studio.
  • Where his dogs at?: In an effort to become the new Michael Vick, cops raided DMX’s house and found some dead dogs and drugs. But his lawyer claims it’s the caretaker’s fault.
