Paul Smith Hits the Pitch

Our fascination with colorful spherical objects continues. After eating up Cerealart’s Ryan McGinness and Takashi Murakami soccer balls (or “footballs” if outside the US), we have a new contender in the field. Paul Smith, the English designer who’s known for his signature vertical multistripe button downs, created this soccer ball made of specially treated printed leather that is recommended for indoor use only. So it’s kind of like vinyl toys, you won’t end up play with them, but they do make for a good addition to your collection of other designer kitschy crap.
