Approaching the “11th Hour”3:30 pm | Friday, August 17th, 2007
If Al Gore’s “Inconvenient Truth” didn’t shock you into at least considering the idea of recycling, Leonardo DiCaprio’s environmental disaster documentary, “11th Hour” might do the trick. We’ve only seen the trailer above, but the New York Times reviewed it and had this to say: [T]he images in “The 11th Hour” are pointedly horrifying, not reassuring, pacific or aestheticized. And that’s why this is by no means a G-rated environmental flick, as the Times notes, “It has freakily scary environmental images.” It opens tonight, so get ready to be scared into action, cause otherwise we’re headed to hell in a handbasket.
