Retro Modern Boombox

The 1980’s weren’t just about cheap coke and 8-Bit video games. It was the decade in which Hip Hop and B-Boy culture exploded on the scene. Puma Clydes and adidas Shelltoes flourished as the preeminent footwear to rock, Cazals were the eye wear choice of choice, and the Boombox was almost as much of a fashion accessory as it was a trend for hearing mixtapes and new music in the street. Out of all the radios out there, Lasonic was definitely at the top of their game so it’s pretty cool that they’ve updated their ghetto blaster with an iPod dock and flash card support to playback MP3 files of choice. The 15lb. “high performance music system” also comes with a an audio output so you can plug it into amp, a “mic mix with echo” feature to really takes ya back in an old school-House Party sort of way, and all sorts of color flashing lights. 80’s revivalism must really be in full effect, as it’s already sold out, but Lasonic promises more are on the way.
