‘Sami’ Clydes Stay Strictly Nordic

snekersnstuff_clydes.jpg
More limited edition Clydes keep coming, and for August, the talk of the sneaker-town are these Sami-inspired models. Puma set out to pay homage to the Sami people, a group of indigenous Scandinavians whose origins are still debated. The connection? Swedish-based online and retail shop SneakersnStuff. These Clydes incorporate Scandinavian-reindeer leather, graphics that represent the Sami flag, and even an inner lining birthed from tribal textile print. If the dope aesthetic of the sneaker wasn't enough for you to cop the sneakers, maybe the it's-for-a-good-cause factor will. Puma will donate 5 percent of all the money the shoes bring in to the Sami Youth Culture. U.S heads, check for these August 18, at ALIFE and Goods.
