Nike’s Cooking Up The Bakin’

Tim Hardaway's signature “Air Bakin” model is coming out (not of the closet, we all know how he feels about gay people) late summer in this fire red and black colorway. Reminiscent of when Hardaway was crossing dudes over running the point for the Miami Heat, the sneaker is a re-issue that serious shoe heads have been waiting for. There's minor changes on the retro from the original ( the heel now sports a standard “Nike Air” logo instead of a cryptic “Air”) but to the un-trained eye is basically the same. Cop and put 'em on ice. 8/1, $124.99, www.finishline.com.

YYYESS, i’m so happy i ‘ve been digging these like a shovel (make me wanna dribble through my legs twice and shot from 5 feet beyond the arch like hardaway). i think they had to change that AIR sign cause when they first came out they got sued cause it looked like some muslim sign.

There was a time where Dennis Rodman was also wearing these before they gave him his own crazy looking fresh zipped kicks and he moved to converse the later season
