The World’s Fastest Luxury Sedan

Nope, it’s not the M5 or a Bentley, it’s the turbocharged, big daddy V12, Brabus Rocket CLS from Mercedes. It’s priced at $469,400 and pushes out a mind bending 730hp making this beast reach a top speed of 227mph and able to reach 0-60 in just under four seconds. Did we mention it’s a four-door sedan? We agree with the nerds that a lack of stick shift is kind of a drag, but it’s gotta have some sort of tiptronic shift action to keep you busy. See it in action here as it screams on the German autobahn (and then breaks down as a commenter dutifully notes).

i can not believe that piece of garbage broke beyond a repair on the first test drive! thats german reliability for you. What do you get for your half a mil? car that will leave you on the side of the road after stepping on it once or twice. amazing how Brabus people didnt want to provide second car for testing, were thay afraid that second one will brake too? why do they make a car that goes 220mph if it actualy is prone to brake at 170? i am so hugely dissaponted.

Argh: Good point! We’re hoping that was just an isolated problem. But yea for half a million you’d expect the damn thing to run right.
