There’s one thing that Gabriel Urist and Jacob the Jeweler have in common and we can assure you that it’s not allegedly laundering $270 million dollars for Detroit's Black Mafia Family, rather, they both make high end bling for celebrities and rappers. Gabriel though has a much younger (he's only 27) and subdued sense of style compared to often gaudy and overdone Jacob stuff. Urist is the master of converting items of casual wear into items of bling and he's made jewelry befitting of King Midas for the likes of: Rza, Ghostface, Biz Markie, Adrien Grenier, Kanye, Mos Def, Zac Posen, Spike Lee, and a veritable who's who in entertainment, sports, and music.
He's getting ready to launch his new NBA line that will be encrusted with various precious metals: silver, gold, and diamonds, and we were able to get our hands on the new ad campaign and close ups of the soon to be released product line. The newly minted basketball-inspired pendants will be available at World's Fair gallery at 204 Elizabeth Street in NYC come March 2007. In the meantime feast your eyes on the more NSFW version of the ad campaign and the close ups of the NBA bling.
