European Graffiti Writers Bomb A Few Trains, Get Rewarded By Front Cover Placement

Ya gotta love NYC's trashy tabloid newspapers. Yesterday's NY Daily News ran a front page story about the recent trend of European graffiti writers coming to NYC to paint the subway trains. This is more than this “Euro Trash” could have ever hoped for and its certainly provides the motivation to get big hits like this that keep these guys hungry. As mentioned in the article they often do it for the flick, since MTA policy has basically been to not run trains adorned with graffiti, so writers really appreciate when big newspapers like the ‘The News’ publish images of their graffiti on the front page of all places. Congratulations to Mort Zuckerman and crew, you’ve just inspired thousands of graffiti writers to go and paint trains so they too can ‘get up’ on the front page.
