Dirty South TV

Artists no longer need a cable network to get themselves a show as you can see from this video. It's episode 1 of rapper Lil Scrappy's newly launched G's Up TV. The 12-week series began this week with documentary-style interviews and skits that offer a glimpse into the life of the Atlanta-born rapper:

“G’s Up TV is the other side of me – not just doing the rap thing. It’ll help people understand what I’m about, beyond my music career – the real Scrappy.”

The first episode includes a guest appearance by Lil Jon who doesn't even belt out his trademark “Yeaaaaaaah” and actually forms a few coherent sentences. The series will also double to hype up the December 5th release of Scrappy’s full-length album, Bred 2 Die, Born 2 Live. You can get a lil preview of the album here and be sure to keep your G's up and check back here for more webisodes.
