A scene-stealing verse on Kanye West’s “Touch The Sky,” a buzzworthy Farenheit 1st & 15th mixtape series, and a notable summer jam about skate life—Lupe Fiasco had the beginnings of a great hip-hop career. That is, until his album release date for Food & Liquor got “Kick, Push”-ed back further and further from earlier this year.
