Back in July we told you about Jose Parla's mural at the James B. Hunt Library at North Carolina State University, now we can do you one better by sharing the video created around the process. Directed by Rey Parla and produced by Justin Wilkes, the short film provides a timelapse of the mural painting as well as an in-depth discussion with the artist that provides context for the incredible piece as well as insight into the way that he thinks about art and the world. From far away the wall looks to be covered in random flourishes but this video reveals that nothing about this piece happened randomly.
