After the opening credits of each episode of HBO's The Wire, an quote would appear that would later be said by a character in the show. These epigraphs often provided foreshadowing for the events to come. Graphic artist Oliver Munday created screenprints of each of the epigraphs from all five seasons of the show (60 in total) and is offering them for sale via The Wire Poster Project. Funds raised by the project will benefit the Baltimore Urban Debate League, an organization featured in the fifth season of The Wire that teaches students in urban areas a new way of learning through competitive debates.
