Two of the most pop, well-known, and beloved creators of our time, Jeremy Scott and Kenny Scharf, have collaborated for the designer's SS '14 show titled "Teenagers From Mars." They've made three prints accompanied by a hand screen-printed collage group using Kenny's iconic characters.

Of the collaboration, Jeremy Scott tells NYCGO,

"It's all about New York City of the early '80s, the Bowery and Lower East Side scene, and the feeling, the energy of that moment. I wanted to represent its characters—Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring, Kenny Scharf—and bring them to life. I got the chance to collaborate with Kenny on prints for this collection, which was amazing. I've been trying to figure out the right thing to do with him for a while now, and I'm so happy we got the chance. It was so much fun."

Of the collaboration, Kenny Scharf says,

"I am so excited and honored to be working with Jeremy Scott—ever since I first saw his collection of Jetsonesque designs, I immediately felt that we would be a great match. Then when I saw what he did with the Keith Haring I thought, wow this is the best thing that I've seen since Keith was alive and doing it himself. Naturally, I jumped at this chance! Jeremy is the first person that I ever let take my art and do whatever he wants. I wasn't nervous about it not being the greatest most fun thing and I wasn't let down for one second—thank you Jeremy!"
