4. Make it easy to understand.
Many graphic résumés use different combinations of the following features: timelines, tag clouds, quotes, references, photos, headlines, statistics, and logos. Make sure that you're résumé is easy to follow no matter how many of these elements you include.
Almost everyone starts with a timeline, and even though graphic résumés are all about straying from the crowd, we suggest starting with a timeline, too. This is what employers want to see the most, and it's the meat of your résumé. Work from there to include other graphics that make sense.
