Henry Hargreaves Photographs What Famous Musicians Request to Eat for ShowsFrank Sinatra: One bottle each: Absolute, Jack Daniel’s, Chivas Regal, Courvoisier, Beefeater Gin, white wine, red wine. Twenty-four chilled jumbo shrimp, Life Savers, cough drops.

Everyone knows celebrities have sometimes outrageous requests when making appearances. Henry Hargreaves, who we recently featured for another photography project, now brings us images of what famous musicians ask for in their riders. A rider, if you didn't know, is a contractual provision that allows celebrities to make special requests that may take the form of equipment arrangement, dressing room organization, or in this case food requests.

Above you will be able to see some of the strangest requests in the industry. A lot of the riders are expected (a.k.a. Mariah Carey's Cristal Champagne, bendy straws). Others are insane, like Britney Spears' "Fish and chips, McDonald’s cheeseburgers without the buns, 100 prunes and figs, a framed photo of Princess Diana."

Hargreaves says to Vice: "what I found most interesting about them is that they offered a glimpse into their larger-than-life personalities." Click through the photos and discover more.
