Street artist and the Godfather of Berlin’s graffiti scene Thierry Noir is one of the only artists to have produced work on both sides of the Berlin Wall. His work is intertwined with breaking barriers and peace. These themes will be incorporated into his new works on display at Generator, art and design-centric hostels newly located in Berlin's Mitte neighborhood.
The artist is replicating his famous "heads" throughout the walls of Generator, a place that seeks to redefine the concept of a hostel. Noir's message of peace in his works reflects the hostel's intention of fostering collaboration. His works will be officially available to be viewed by public in May. Below is a video of an interview with the artist himself talking about the project.
