Met Museum Announces Red Carpet Live Stream of Their "Costume Institute Benefit"from 2010

The Metropolitan Museum of Art will live stream red carpet arrivals to its highly publicized "Costume Institute Benefit" on May 6 at 7 pm. If you watch the exciting stream, you will see interviews with gala co-chairs including Rooney Mara and Anna Wintour, as well as talks with many other celebrities in the music, fashion, and film industry. You will be able to see the broadcast on the Moda Operandi, Vogue, and Samsung websites as well.

The red carped precedes the opening of this year's new exhibition "Punk: Chaos to Couture" which is also pretty cool. On view May 9 through August 14, the show examines punk and its influence on modern culture. Classic punk outfits will be shown alongside couture looks, showing how the punk idea of DIY has been incorporated in high fashion.
