Hey Studio Presents a Graphic Series of Characters Depicting Gods

Hey studio has created images of the world's most well-known gods for the show Oh My God at MITTE-Barcelona. While usually we would envision more serious beings in portraits of prominent deities, the design team has produced graphics using simple shapes and blocks of color that depict the gods as iconic characters. Today the idea of various gods may simply remain as such in our minds, as revered concepts of divine and supreme beings.

Comparing the idea to a more contemporary culture, an organizer for the show said, “In ancient Greece they had something better than superheroes. They had gods—each with their own powers, weaknesses, history and followers. Jupiter and Mars came, Jesus and Mohammed, Buddha and Elvis. 2,500 years later, they return to claim their place and remind us that there is nothing more dangerous than believed immortality.”
