The Thumbsaver is such a simple and obviously necessary device that once you see the picture, you know exactly what it does. Rather than dangerously holding a nail in place by hand when hammering, this tool grasps the nail for you. The Thumbsaver has a groove that fits around the nail and a magnet to keep it in place. Seriously, why did this take so long to invent?
