Photographer Alex Bamford describes some of the images in his Sleepwalking series as moments of "moonbathing" and "moonlit wanderings in pajamas." As we are introduced to various scenes throughout a sleepwalker's nighttime adventure, we observe this barefooted man exploring various spaces in outdoor nature. He faces a windmill, sways with the trees on a hill, stares up at the sky, onto the ocean, and into a pipe. Bamford's images allow us to witness a dreaming adventurer, as many photographs have used long exposure times that capture the slow movements of the natural environment seen in the sky and sea.
