Ryoji Ikeda Presents "A Single Number That Has 124,761,600 Digits" through s[edition] (Video)

Okay so just follow us here. Japanese sound artist Ryoji Ikeda has released a new work with s[edition] entitled A Single Number That Has 124,761,600 Digits. The work is a video that shows a single number that happens to have 124,761,600 in it. It is a very large number that is inconceivable by the human brain.

If your brain was a calculator, this number wouldn't be so big in comparison to the endless possibilities of numbers. However, the work endeavors to show the surrealism in mathematics, showing that the reality of mathematics is something to expanse it seems imaginary.

You can actually buy the real work here and stream it through the s[edition] app on iPads.
