Sculptor Mario Ceroli is a big deal. The New York Times describes him as one of the least known yet most influential artists of the Italian post-war scene. Ceroli has been in the business over 40 years and has created a wide variety of sculptures and installations. In these two similar works entitled Maestrale (the green one) and La Vague (the one that look like peanut butter), the artist depicts crashing waves out of thin layers of glass and wood.
