Lehmann Maupin Gallery Becomes Giant Coloring Book With Help From Artist Robin Rhode

Until March 16th, Robin Rhode has converted New York's Lehman Maupin Gallery (in the Chrystie Street Branch) into a giant coloring book, titling the exhibition, Paries Pictus. The exhibition is a result of Rhode's work with a non-profit program called, Time In, where children are encouraged to connect with their respective cities' local culture. Recently, 37 first graders from the South Bronx were invited to fill in the blanks, connect, the dots, and enjoy the larger than life coloring book with giant crayons provided by Rhode himself. Fun and active art, for all ages. We can dig it.
