International air travel has been stepping up its game, and to keep up, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines recently unveiled its new business class cabin layout, a design collaboration with Hella Jongerius. To ensure comfortable travel, the interior now features curtains, cushions, blankets, fully flat horizontal reclining, privacy seating, and sustainable carpeting. In fact, the carpet is so sustainable, that it's made from a combination of former KLM flight attendants' uniforms and discarded carpets from carpet manufacturer, Desso. Enjoy sustainable, luxurious, and well-designed air travel in KLM's business class starting in July 2013.
