Gail Maroqitz, or "The Visual Strategist" as she goes by, is one of the most prominent names in the world of album art . She previously served as the Vice President of Design at Columbia Records and the Creative Director at Sony Music Entertainment, where she worked with many major artists to help establish the artistic value in their visual content, from their album art to photography. This is Gail's second Grammy nomination; she won her first in 2005 for Aimee Mann's project, The Forgotten Arm. In addition to graphic design, Gail also specializes in print-making and photography.
