The trend of hotels resembling homes and high-end condos has become even bigger in 2013. The newly opened Aggrenad Hotel in South Korea, designed by architecture firm AND, is a concrete shear wall structure with exterior cantilevered balconies in the middle of mountains and ocean. While it may resemble a modern beach house, it's even equipped with a café at the entrance and has a well-designed surrounding landscape to show you it's not just any other place to stay.
