Jean-Baptiste Mondino Photographs Lana Del Rey for Madame Figaro

Lana Del Rey appears on the cover of the January edition of Madame Figaro magazine looking like a hippie in the spread shot by famed photographer Jean-Baptiste Mondino. The 26-year-old is heralded as a "modern diva" in the French publication. Her '60s carefree style is a refreshing departure from the glamour girl we're used to, but is it just us or is LDR looking more and more like Cher every day?

Aside from sporting neutral tones, Rey also talks about her younger years: “As a child, I feel different,” Lana said in the article. “I always wanted to make my life a work of art.”
