When it comes to mixtapes, the quality of the music always outweighs the visuals. Always. But in these cases, the cover artworks were just too crazy to resist mentioning. We're not really being haters—our opinions on the album art are solely based on the visuals, not on mixtape quality, since a few of these are definitely in our top bunch of the year. However, from Azealia Banks' "too-cute" Fantasea cover to the bizarre Hologram Panda self-explanatory cover by Riff Raff, this year's hip-hop mixtapes went a little crazy with the cover art.
