Afghani Designer Creates Low-Cost Wind-Powered Land Mine Detonator

The average cost of a land mine removal is around $1,200. That's hella expensive once you think about how many military sweeps occur in a year. Afghan designer Massoud Hassani recently devised a way to bring this cost down to around $51.
