Who can front on a house with an awesome pool?
In Lima, Peru architects Felipe Ferrer and Alonso Toledo had dreamed up a dream home. Exposed wooden beams. Sweeping views. A tremendous pool. All the elements are there.
The balance of concrete and wood in the design is most intriguing too. Ferrer and Toledo effectively merge sleek lines and the natural eccentricities of local wood. You see all the knots and all the streaks. In all, the home is a celebration of material. And, for that, a triumph.
