Emily Carr and Her Dog

Emily Carr was part of Canada's Group of Seven, and she's known for painting the nation's landscape and heritage during the 1920s. She loved dogs and also had a pet monkey named Woo. Her works began with aboriginal themes and progressed to landscapes, and much of her writing also includes the indigenous people of Canada.
