Damon Dash Opening 'Poppington' Art Gallery In NYC's Lower East Side

Damon Dash has decided to open his own gallery in NYC's popular downtown neighborhood, the Lower East Side, on 60 Orchard Street. The first show opens September 27 with an exhibition called “Quality of Life”, curated by David Chang, David Barnett, and Beau. The exhibition will feature works from artists Beau, Jim Joe, Katsu, Phil, Pixote, Sabio, and WOMP. Seeing as how “Poppington” means "extraordinary to the maximum level," it's expected that his gallery will take it there...we hope.
