After learning about the horrific story of amateur curator Cecilia Gimenez last week, it was hard to know how to react. Fortunately, the Internet knew exactly what to do, and turned the situation into a meme, by transposing the disfigured "beast" face onto other famous artworks and photographs.
Long story short, Gimenez took it upon herself to restore a 19th century church fresco of Jesus by painter ElÃas GarcÃa MartÃnez. She royally fucked up and turned herself into the authorities.
