When you're Jeff Koons, one genre of art isn't enough, and neither is one exhibition. Instead, the contemporary American pop artist gets two concurrent exhibitions this summer, one for his paintings and one for his sculptures at Schirn Kunsthalle and Liebieghaus Skulpturensammlung in Frankfurt, Germany.

Jeff Koons. The Painter at the Schirn has forty paintings spanning his most iconic works, and Jeff Koons. The Sculptor at the Liebieghaus has fifty known and new sculptures. These two exhibitions give viewers a chance to witness Koons' impact, as an artist known for his provocative, hyper-realistic study of pop culture and history.

Both exhibits open today, June 20, 2012, and run through September 23, 2012.
