The Design Museum’s 2012 Design Awards, also known as "the Oscars of the design world," has chosen its category winners from Architecture, Digital, Fashion, Furniture, Graphics, Product and Transport.

This year's overall winner was the London 2012 Olympic Torch designed by duo Barber Osgerby. While the winners are stunning, there are a handful of nominees whose work is mind-blowing and deserves recognition.
