Born in Lisbon, photographer Sha Ribeiro splits his time between Milan and New York City. His work moves fluidly from high fashion to street shoots. In music, Ribeiro has documented bounce culture in New Orleans and the grime scene in East London. He's also responsible for the fantastic portrait covering Styles P's recent Master of Ceremonies LP.

Ribeiro presents all his subjects with a direct, honest eye. A fine example is the series "Ink From New Orleans." The tattoos range include full body markings and an ode to the fallen Soulja Slim, and give clear indication of the N.O.'s street aesthetic.
