Pictured above, the Crazy Horse Memorial in Black Hills, South Dakota, is on its way to becoming the world's largest sculpture. When complete, the memorial will 641 feet long and 563 feet wide. Wow. The sculpture was started by Korczak Ziólkowski in 1948 and his family has been chipping away ever since. (Longest sculpture, indeed).
The Crazy Horse Memorial is pretty impressive. And, it got us thinking about other big things.
We've all seen the biggest cow at the state fair. Sadly, we've also watched fat guys on tv tackle the biggest burger in Pennsylvania. Those things are cool. But, the world also is full of more interesting, and more impressive big things.
