Obey giant, Shepard Fairey was humbled last week when he was beaten up after a show in Copenhagen, Denmark. Shepard and a colleague were attacked by at least two men believed to be enraged over Fairey's recent mural which commemorated the demolition of a legendary Copenhagen landmark. Confusion occurred when critics accused Fairey off peddling propaganda on the symbolic location. Shepard was not hurt badly, but probably won't be returning to Denmark anytime soon. [Guardian UK]

I know Shepard and he is the most HUMBLE artist I have ever met. Why the hell would he even engage in beating up these idiotic 20 somethings.. That's him being WISE and not getting a worse rep. The guy only wants to help and he get's shat on.. So not ok.. I though Copenhagen would embrace some of his work.. he's not just about Obama.. He's got so much other shit going on, is talented, sweet, calm and has as amazing family..
