Last Thursday, MoveOn.org’s Rebuild the Dream movement held an event in New York, where green economy activist and human rights pioneer Van Jones gave a speech to launch his platform. The Roots rocked the stage, and Shepard Fairey spun a set to warm the audience up. It was an opportunity for us to catch up with Shepard, so we sat down with him to talk about the way he responds to negative media attention, his political engagement, the tumblr generation, and whether he'll do a 2012 version of "HOPE".
