The Kauffman Center for the performing arts in Kansas City is about to become the focal point of the Missouri skyline. Clocking in at nearly 300,000 square-feet the building is said to hold around 1,600 seats, and is created primarily from steel and glass. It's got a resemblance to the Sydney Opera House, and is a definite upgrade for good ol' K.C. [Designboom]
