What do you get when two men have been hired to steal the most iconic piece of modern artwork in popular culture on a Sunday morning? A shit storm. Masked thieves entered the Edvard Munch Museum in Oslo on an August morning with a .357 magnum, and tore two Edvard Munch pieces from the walls. The museum utilizes a silent alarm and security guards, but Norwegian police don't carry guns, so armed guards are rare. After making it out, the thieves hid the paintings in Norwegian drag racer Thomas Nataas' Batmobile-style bus (he was later acquitted of accessory charges). Rumor has it that the mastermind behind a slew of notorious Norwegian bank robberies was involved, but investigators are keeping quiet.

First off this is a pretty terrible article, its is interesting but some one who reads this article will most likely want to hear what happened to the painting, how it was stole or how the authority's have no idea wtf happened. Instead this article is a complete let down it says the very lest amount about each heist possible and a in a few case nothing about the heist at all. Secondly, who gave the writer of this article this list of heist? because its utterly uninteresting these are some of the lamest heist I've ever heard off and as someone who is pretty well verst in art history I have to say check your facts some of these aren't even true.
