Well Played: A New Documentary Short on Ai Weiwei's "Sunflower Seeds" at Tate Modern

In the fall of 2010, the Chinese artist Ai Weiwei installed 100 million ceramic sunflower seeds at the Tate Modern in London. Each seed was molded and hand-painted, a process that took two-and-a-half years to complete. The Tate Modern released the above documentary short, an interview with the artist that explains the project and takes the viewer through the creation and installation process. It's pretty dope, and a nice cultural diversion to break up your day (we promise more dick jokes later). The show continues through May 2, so if you wind up across the pond, make sure to stop in.
