"This is a painting from 2009, a couple months before my second daughter, Natalie was born. My work was much more political back then, these days with two young children I barely seem to have time to finish necessary work and take care of the family, let alone stay politically active. It's sad to say, but sometimes I just don't give a fuck about what's going on in the world. I had put so much energy and time into politics and trying to do the right thing, and really, not much is different. I still vote, even though most of my friends stopped or never started."
