"This is a large painting for my recent show in NYC. I'm still wrapping my mind around what the whole show means. Some artists know exactly what their intent is before they begin, I'd say I know about 50% of what I am getting into, and figure the rest as I go. Sometimes I "get it" a few years later when I look back at what was happening in my life. Overall the show was exploring our lifecycle of being born, dying and living our lives. This piece is about falling in love and having sex. The inspiration for the female figure was a childhood Go Bot toy called Cy-Kill."
