Grandma's Attic: The Coolest Things from New York Antique Week

This match striking mechanism lived much as you see it here. It probaly hung on a wall, tongue out, for tavern visitors to light up on. It's creepy, in a pretty cool way. The shelf that forms the nose would have held matches.
